Roosevelt Campobello International Park
Scavenger Hunt Answers in Video Below
Franklin Roosevelt's family lovingly called Campobello "The Beloved Island". FDR's relationship with the island began in childhood when his parents purchased a summer home there, creating the foundation for decades of cherished family memories.

As a wedding gift, FDR's mother presented the young couple with their own cottage on the island, where Franklin and Eleanor would raise their children and create lasting traditions. Eleanor, with her characteristic warmth and curiosity, would often invite travelers she encountered around the island to join her for tea—transforming chance meetings into meaningful connections.
This spirit of hospitality lives on today through the Park's popular "Tea with Eleanor" programs, offered twice daily, where visitors can experience the same gracious welcome that made Campobello so beloved to America's First Family.
